What I learned pouring a hundred coasters

By Zeniar Support ·

Resin has opinions about the weather. On a 38-degree day it cures before you have finished swirling; on a wet July morning it sulks for hours.

Three things that helped

  • Warm the bottles in a water bath first.
  • Pour thin layers and walk away.
  • Keep a heat gun within reach, but use it less than you want to.

The hundredth coaster looked nothing like the first, and I mean that as a compliment to the process.
